Bathing Season
During the bathing season, the beach is supervised by the ISN (lifeguards’ Portuguese authority), the water quality is regularly monitored and the “accessible beach – beach for all” flag awarded by the National Institute for Rehabilitation, the Portuguese Environment Agency and Tourism Portuguese Office.
Restaurant Service
On the river beach you will find a quiet and pleasant terrace and outdoor bar open during the bathing season. There you can find ice cream and the cooler summer drinks, traditional snacks or the well-known sandwiches that kids prefer. All is prepared to enjoy a good meal to choose from the menu.
